Atlantic Housing provides high quality housing and care services in Southern England. We aim to deliver our services in a way which benefits tenants, users and the communities in which we work.
Atlantic Housing Group (AHG) is the parent company to a range of subsidiaries; Fernhill Care, Eastleigh Housing Association and Wessex Property.
Atlantic Housing Group was established in March 1999, following the success of Eastleigh Housing Association in out performing its business plan and in rapid product diversity. Its aim is to provide leadership and charitable focus to the Group.
The Group aims to grow and develop so that it can provide additional homes in a variety of tenures including social rent, market rent, sub-market rent for key workers, mortgage rescue, shared ownership or equity, low cost home ownership initiatives, supported, rural and market town housing.
AHG are currently developing homes throughout Hampshire, parts of Dorset and West Sussex. The majority of new developments will be for general needs housing in either social rented or shared ownership schemes. The Group has also gained a reputation for developing supported housing for a range of groups including:
- People living with mental illness
- Learning disability
- Visual and other physical disability
- Drug and/or alcohol problems
- Young people seeking work, training or education
- Young parents
- Women at risk of violence
- Frail older people
- Older people with moderate dementia
AHG, a Registered Social Landlord, is an Industrial and Provident Society with charitable status and has overall control of the Group. As well as providing leadership to the group as a whole, AHG provides the Group with a charitable focus in a range of community-based initiatives. Atlantic Housing Group Limited is an exempt charity.
